When I was considering being a teacher, my absolute favourite history teacher told me the same thing - that one of the great joys of teaching is how much he learned from his students. That observation always stuck with me, so am so happy that you concur! And I agree that unrealistic grade expectations from students and parents is a real issue that needs to be reckoned with by us all.
